During a session, the facilitator leads a surrogate, known as a 'Walker', through a series of non-leading, non-invasive questions. Walkers experience with profound accuracy what it is to be their subject, physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually for the client to witness.

A member of psychologist John Cogswell's development team of the Walking in Your Shoes method, Ms Buerklin has applied the Lumin8 process to personal, creative and business development since 1992. She holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with a Spiritual and Depth Specialization from Antioch University Los Angeles.
